Whether you turn left or right. Or whether the decision on which path to take, ends up being wrong or right, you have the RIGHT. The right to choose – at least. What are you choosing?
“To deny people their human rights, is to challenge their very humanity” – Nelson Mandela
We are celebrating Human Rights Day, today, 21 March 2018 in South Africa.
Let us remember that we are HUMAN, we get to choose every single day. You have the right to citizenship and security. You have the right to freedom and association. you have the right to culture, community and language. You have the right to belief, religion, opinion and expression. You have the right to education. You have the right to health, food, water, housing and a healthy environment. You have the right and freedom of choice. You have the right to be treated as human and to treat others with humanity.
Nelson Mandela said that no one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they must learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than the opposite.
Yes, you have (HUMANE) Human Rights! Strive for humanity as our race!
Therefore, let’s CHOOSE to treat one another with respect and with humility and with basic humanity.
